Driving range closure
29 September 2010
Work on the new driving range will start on Monday, 4 October. The archaeological dig is now finished; unfortunately no jewels or fossils were found.
The development work is expected to last about six months. During this time the driving range will remain closed, helping us to get the work done as quickly as possible.
The temporary grass range on the pitch and putt area is open for to use.
For safety reasons please only use irons in this temporary area. Please collect your bucket of balls in the normal way and follow the yellow lines to this area.
Thank you for your patience while we make these improvements to the driving range.
New driving range developments
1 September 2010
At Deangate Ridge, we offer a great golfing experience and excellent value for money.
Which is why we are pleased to be able to tell you about an exciting development taking place over the next 18 months at the course, bringing you even more golf for your money.
On Monday, 6 September, work begins to renovate the driving range. When completed, the new perimeter fencing and a level range will deliver the ultimate in driving range experiences.
As you would expect, this type of development work will take some time to complete and there will be some unavoidable disruption to play. We will keep you informed of any interruptions through the website and apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause.
The driving range is now closed Monday to Friday until 5pm (until further notice). To minimise the disruption there will be temporary bays for use on the pitch and putt area.
Safety Information - please adhere to the following regulations in order to minimise disruption:
Use irons only, no drivers or fairway woods.
Under no circumstances walk out of the marked bays to collect the balls you have hit.
Stay behind the red line when watching others in the bays.
Only one person should be in each bay at any time.
Hit balls in the direction indicated by arrows.
